The universe is so huge and there are gazillions of galaxies on it. Our earth is perhaps billions of times smaller than a dot in the universe and the things we know about it is just the tip of the iceberg. If you would look at the image of the universe and other heavenly bodies for sure you will be in awe with the explosion of shapes and colors of the planets, stars, meteors, asteroids and many many more.

Although it is a huge task to calculate age of the universe, it is not a remote possibility to estimate how old it is. By looking at the distant galaxies that moves away from us the scientist can able to measure the age of the universe. According to Encyclopedia of Questions and Answers the scientists estimate that our universe is 13 Billion years old and this is indeed a staggering number.

Vast expanse of the universe is immense and the galaxies on it may have scores of billions of stars and planets. There are also countless planets that are present in our galaxies and thus counting out that there are no other life forms aside from us is irrational. We didn’t still know yet the universe thoroughly well and in fact we didn’t even know even a very small fraction of it.

The advances in technology give us the opportunity to gradually learn about our universe. According to science there are extraordinary signals that the communications systems on earth intercepts, light can be sucked into the very mysterious black hole and time maybe subjected to distortion by ultra-fast space travel. But still, no one can prove that there is a form of life outside our planet much more entities that according to fiction movies are very intelligent and may look horrible to us.

Astronomers employ telescopes to look for messages emanating from civilizations outside the earth. In the early 60’s the scientists was been able to pick series of radio pulses but it turned out to be quasars.

Sighting of UFOs can be traced back to the ancient times and until now there are some people that claim they have seen one and some was even abducted. Many of these were proven hoax and but still some are unexplainable as of this time.

Some even believed then that the Mars is a possible for different life forms as the words Martians was conceived.

However the issue that surrounds the Area 54 is still alive and not yet extinguished. Many people living in the area believe that alien exists though.

There were a lot of books written about aliens and there are also a lot of movies that are associated with extra terrestrial entities like the blockbuster E.T., Alien VS Predator, Predator, The Encounter with The Third Kind, The Silence of the Dumb and the Men in Black. These are just some of the testimony of human’s fascination with the aliens.

What do you think do the aliens really exist?

Perhaps one of the most popular theories that exist especially in the textbooks used in schools state that the Universe was made in an instant in just one massive explosion. All matter was packed together into a tiny, super-hot, solid ball that is said to be tinier than an atom. The ball gets bigger and bigger and when it suddenly cools down it detonated discharging off energy and matter all over the place.

It is difficult to prove the validity of this theory since this could’ve taken place billions of years ago and of course it will difficult to implement scientific method with it since undergoing an experiment will be impossible.

Theories will forever theories and it is difficult to believe in such since it is not yet proven.

The universe is expanding and growing bigger and bigger as the galaxies moves away from one another as the Universe spreads out.

The Vietnam War started in 1957, and like in the Korean War, the United States of America sided with its ally this time with South Vietnam against aggression coming from the North Vietnam. The USSR or Soviet Union supported the Communist North.

The United States which is equipped with modern military advancements and formidable firepower was overwhelmed by the guerilla warfare set up by the resourceful and dreadful peasant army. It is quiet difficult to deal with hidden and well camouflaged enemies and as a result the Americans finally pulled out its military backing in the South in 1975. Without the United States South Vietnam eventually succumbed to North Vietnam.

The United States which boasts of a formidable arsenal cannot be able to cope up with the tactics and stratagems dished out by a smaller country which is the North Korea.

The Germany was then divided into East and West Germany. The East Germany is backed up by the Soviet Union whilst the West was supported by the Allies led by the United States. Though Berlin was in the Soviet’s territory of the annexed Germany, the Allies have taken control of a part of it. The Soviets rail against the presence of the Allies’ presence and as a result they isolated their zone from the Western principles.

In 1961, the Soviets, built a wall around the entire of the Berlin’s western region, to segregate the East Germans from the West Germans.

The wall eventually became bigger and was surrounded with barbed wire, minefields and fortified guards. The Soviets endeavored to remove West Berlin’s supply paths, to encourage the Western Allies to go away. Instead of bucking down the Allies provided supply to the beleaguered city by air until the Soviet blockade stopped.

History was made in 1989, as the East Germans opted to reject Communist rule and the Berlin Wall that once divided the city was destroyed by the Germans.
